I pledge the $45, so I got the Aurora and alpha/beta access. Still downloading the hanger mod released today.
I don't see how this game will kill Eve. Most MMO players play multiple games. I also play Entropia Universe and Star Trek Online and (somewhat shamefully) played POTBS and Evony. I know many who also play WoW, WOT and others. I actually heard about Eve while playing EU from players there that had Eve accounts and jumped back and forth. It won't kill anything, except space on people's computers for all the games they have lined up.
The only thing that will kill Eve is Eve (well, CCP anyway) |

Yes and no. It seems it's delayed because they got ahead of themselves. The DFG was slated to be released in December, but without some back-end multi-player stuff. They were going to add that in later when it got done. That back-end work got done earlier then expected, so they decided to hold off for a couple months while they just go ahead and add that in now.
A strange thing of being behind schedule, because they're ahead of schedule. |

I think you're confusing Origin in SC. Origin is an in-game manufacturer of ships (kinda like Roden or RSS), has nothing to do with EA. |
